Edmund Ko Named General Manager, Sanya Marriott Resort & Spa
Marriott International is pleased to announce that Edmund Ko has been named General Manager of Sanya Marriott Resort & Spa.
Originating from Hong Kong, Edmund has more than 26 years of experience in the hospitality industry, including 14 years with Marriott International. He has been in charge of managing sales & marketing, operations, and served for Marriott as Director of Sales at the Hong Kong Regional Sales Office, Director of Sales & Marketing of the China Hotel Guangzhou and at Sanya Marriott Resort & Spa.
Striving to guide Sanya Marriott Resort & Spa from strength to strength after joining as Director Sales & Marketing in 2007, Edmund was promoted to Resident Manger in 2010. Showing loyalty and dedication to the resort he consistently displayed superb leadership abilities while doing business the Marriott Way, always meeting and exceeding the expectations of guests and associates.
As General Manager, Edmund aims to lead Sanya Marriott Resort & Spa into the future, continuing to provide a fantastic beach resort experience while achieving market goals and following a clear business plan.
